Q: How long does the Jail Management System take to install?
A: If you already have a server set up that you want to use for JMS, we can have your agency operational the same day. For agencies requiring server set-up, JMS can be operable within just 2 days.
Q: Every vendor has hidden costs, what are yours?
A: We have zero hidden fees; our price page clearly outlines prices designed to meet your budget.
Q: What all is included in your pricing?
A: The full JMS installation and training (min. 10days on site) Data conversion and all standard interfaces. We also include, after Go-Live, a full JMS Training version.
Q: How is your pricing determined?
A: Our pricing is very simple, $15K for the server configuration, and $400 per bed based on your bed count or ADP whichever is lower.
Q: What is the annual maintenance cost per year?
A: Your cost for annual maintenance is 20% of the original purchase cost, and will not increase over time.

Q: If I want to use biometric log-ins, which fingerprint readers do I need?

Q: What if I want to use fingerprint readers for half of my PCs and standard log-ins for the other half?
A: Our software is designed so that the agency has the flexibility to fingerprint reeaders on all or some of the PCs the agency has.
Q: How many States are you currently ?
A: We are currently serving clients in 15 States.
Q: What type of support do you offer?
A: We offer 24/7 365 days a year support, via phone and e-mail with a maximum 6 hour respones time. We do not use a call center of any type.
Q: Do you offer on-site refresher training after the Go-Live?
A: Yes, we have some agencies that have elected to have one of our trainers go on site 1-2 times a year for refresher training. You can contact sales@beaconss.com for more details.
Q: Does the annual maintenance cost go up should we decide to expand our jail facility?
A: No, once the pricing has been agreed upon, that is your price for life with us, should you want to increase your maintenance amount to us, we will gladly accept.
Q: How are your updates completed and when can we expect to see them?
A: Our release cycle is quarterly, clients can expect to see updates every calendar quarter with a new version at the beginning of the year, there is never a cost for updates.
