Q: How long does the Advanced Authentication take to install?

A: If you already have a server set up that you want to use for AA, we can have your agency operational the same day. For agencies requiring server set-up, AA can be operable within just 2 days.

 

Q: Every vendor has hidden costs, what are yours?

A: We have zero hidden fees; our price page clearly outlines prices designed to meet your budget.

 

Q: How can I setup a DEMO of your AA product?

Q: If I want to use biometric log-ins, which fingerprint readers do I need?

Q: What if I want to use fingerprint readers for half of my MDTs and Passcode cards for the other half?

A: Our software is designed to be used with any of the peripherals we show on this website, either all of the same type or a combination of them.

 

Q: How does your AA come into play when using my MDTs?

A: In accordance with CJIS policy, we launch AA at the log-in. Personnel will not have access to the MDTs desktop without entering the correct “method” of log-in.

 

Q: Since your AA launches at the log-in, what is the solution if an MDT cannot connect to the server due to a faulty air card or other technical issue?

A: Your IT staff (or designee) will be provided with an AA Management tool and Administrator log-in method to override the AA for technical purposes.

 

Q: What is the most inexpensive method for using your AA program?

A: The most inexpensive method is use of the Passcode cards, especially since we will print the first set for you at no additional cost.

 

Q: Your price page says you charge per MDT. What if I want to add additional MDTs after you install, implement and train?

A: Once we have installed, implemented the application and trained your staff, any use of additional MDTs you wish to use is up to your IT department. IT staff can install as many as they wish.

 

Q: What is AA’s annual maintenance cost per year?

A: Your cost for annual maintenance is 20% of the original purchase cost, and will not increase over time.

 

Q: Do I have to pay for AA annual maintenance and updates for the first year?

A: No, maintenance and updates for the first year are included in the purchase price.

 

Q: Why do I need Advanced Authentication?

A: The new FDLE/CJIS policy mandates that personnel accessing CJIS/FCIC/ and NCIC information must use Two-Factor authentication, something you know, and something you have.

 

Q: If an Officer/Deputy loses a card, how do I replace it?

A: Using the AA Manager, you can print out a replacement card. Once re-printed, the old card is automatically voided.

 

Q: What type of card printer do I need to print additional cards?

A: Our software does not require any specific type of card printer. The choice is yours.
